alright well today i just sent my money down to GA to get a '96 Cobra motor. I've been told it is just a simple swap but I'm wondering if I'll have problems with the tranny, since I have an automatic, will I need any parts to buy since I don't have a 5speed like what all cobras came with?? Also I've been told I need a flexplate(don't even know what it is really) of some sort because of the motor being a 8 bolt crank, and my current motor being 6 bolt? Any helps appreciated, thanks.

i wouldnt think that 8 or 6 bolt matter and your tranny should bolt right up... i dont see why it wouldnt
