Default transmission question

This is my first stang. I had lightnings before. I' m trying to figure out what tranny I have so I can get a shift kit. I have a 2003 vert gt. Can anyone help?

E4OD? It should be stamped into the bottom of the pan, just like every other Ford trans
-P.

You have a 4R70W which is the new and improved AOD.

call your nearest ford dealership and give them you vin # and they will tell you
