2002 Stang GT

hey i was looking at suspension parts for my stang, maximmum motorsports has a 5 link suspension for my GT for about 1,000 bucks, do u guys think that its worth buying? and will it make a huge difference in handling?

basicaly you already have a four link and the fith would be a pan hard bar. But any traction help is great. I won a 1997 cobra with little done but intake and exaust and drag radials. he had a throttle body, cold air intake cat back exaust, maf sensor, chip. (but no traction)

oh yeah i think new lower and upper control arms would be great if just for drag racing.

If you want a 'road race' type suspension ask Cobra owners around where you live. There are more than a few that are willing to swap out to a live axle set up because it is better and easier to set up for drag racing. It all depends on where you live and the Cobra owners around there, but I know of two cases in which that swap occurred.</P>
