Default Better Stance

I want to know what it the best setup for my car to sit like some cobras do where in the front the fender is sits right above the tire and almost the same in the rear. How can I get my car to sit like that?

A lot of guys do the h&r springs, some cut coils and others run coilover setups so it really depends on your budget and what you feel like doing..

aftermarket lowering springs...for an ok drop eibach pro kit...you'll end up thinking it's not low enough if you really wanna get nice and low with a nice rake (lower in the front than in the back)...eibach sport lines will give you around a2" drop i believe, h&r's are also really good and give a nice drop...i recently cut my stock springs, 1 1/4 coil out back 2 coils out front...looks amazing, FREE, but rides a little bumpy...everyone on here will b*tch and complain about how terrible it is for your car and how it changes the spring rate, but in all honesy they are linear springs, the rate doesn't change, but it is a little more of a harsh ride...shop around and look at a bunch of pics, then make your decision

Clipping springs will be your best bet. B/c if you screw up, all you have to do is go to the junkyard and start all over!!!

+1...when i did it i cut a little bit at a time, took it back out and took some more off until i was happy with it...airtools and a cutoff wheel ftw!most people will say its the ghetto way and only ricers do it, but what do you think old school hotrods did before the aftermarket, not to mention if you have ever seen overhaulin you will see chip foose cut springs at least once an episode

Ok so H&R springs are pretty good for a drop im going to find some pics of some with them, Ive seen many people with eibachs and the stance isnt that low. Im have some concern is I will be taking my car to the track quite a bit and want to make sure that if I drop it alot that I will have trouble with my car being so low that it doesnt transfer the weight properly.

you could get that with h&r's for sure, maybe even with 1/2 coil cut off....a buddy of mine has h&r's on his 04 dsg cobra with 1 coil cut off and it's slammed!!! imo it's too low, but to get as low as that pic you still might have to do some cutting...if you're that worried about weight transfer get a nice rake and leave the rear a little higher instead of completley even front to back....fyi with my stock springs cut i'm not too far off from that pic...new wheels getting put on friday, so look out for some pics and check out my stance with my setup
