screw the governer

I have a question as to how I can get rid of the governer chip/sensor in my GT...any suggestions?

Computer controlled, just turn it off via the tune. But to be honest, its a Mustang GT, not a porsche... maybe they put the speed govenor in for a reason?

Yeah, there is no "governor" in the classic sense, it a rev-limiter controlled by the PCM--any handheld tuner will let you tweak it, some may let you trun it off completely--IDK...
