plates and manifold are in. I did have to modify them to allow spark plug wire clearance.
the improvement is very noticable. the engine will rev. with ease. before the manifold swap the engine starts
to flatten out at 4500 rpm now it pulls hard to 5500. low rpm torque is also strong.

a test in a mag. (maybe 5.0) showed 25hp max. increase at the rear wheels with a best of 35hp under the curve.
I don't have a dyno run to compare my plates. I will be getting it tuned in a few weeks.

definitely worth the time and expense. I will post some more picks today.
there were also no hood clearance issues. I also have a strut tower brace, thou not reinstalled
I checked and it clears. The manifold/plate kit sold by L for $650 has a modified manifold, I think
they cut the top where the upper plenum attaches for clearance. I didn't want to do this so I went
with the thin material for the plate.

I have a spare set but they require the hand blending and additional cutouts where the
spark plug wires interfered. I will be updating my CAD file of the plates. If I can find someone to fabricate
them for a good price then I could sell new ones.

I updated the CAD file yesterday and downloaded the emachineshop software.
priced the plate and it looks expensive. I would have to sell plates for $150
to cover the time for final hand blending the ports and to cover initial time and money layout.
(the more plates you make at one time the cheaper they become-I would have to make about 100 plates).

this still works out cheaper that $650.
$200 manifold
25 coolant tube
5 o-rings and spacer for alt.
150 plates
___________
$380 total

no other mod's are required-no longer bolts or manifold cutting.

do you think anyone would buy plates for $150.00
I would not have any other of the listed parts for sale.

im sortove learning a lot about a new startup of a product through someone i know.. he's making an addon to an oil filter which is like stronger magnets pretty much.. to get more of the metals.
