Default Aluminum driveshaft for a 4R70W tranny

Hey everyone,

I'm having some trouble locating the proper "driveshaft yoke" for my 03 GT automatic. I know Ford has stopped making the Aluminum Driveshaft 4602-G for automatic mustangs and I am told the only other that will fit is the 4602-J aluminumdriveshaft. This driveshaft will fit however it's "yoke" is sized for the manual tranny. Does anyone know the part number or yoke that will fit onto an automatic? Preferably one stronger then OE because if not, I guess it is a waste to buy an aluminum driveshaft if the only yoke that will fit on an auto isOE strength..?

Thanks alot.......

I think the only option you have is to use the stock yoke. I had the same problem, thats why I didn't go with the aluminum driveshaft

The tranny is AMAZING!! I love it!! And it was much cheaper to buy one from them instead of doing the build up part by part. I definetly recommend looking into it

hey 99steedagt...thanks for the help with this driveshaft issue. I guess we may have to change out the yoke shortly if I really am going with an aluminum one.

P.S. - I am doing the same to my 4R70W in about 1 month. I can't wait.....!
