Does a Novi 2000 whine like other superchargers?? Or what type of sound oes it make at idle, wot, and cruising? Thanks for the help

novi is a centrifugal and whistles at idle and is almost silent under boost.

That's what mine sounds like too. You know its there when idling and slow cruising but at wot all i hear is my exhaust...then everything else gets fuzzy until i let off the gas....then I hear the bypass...followed by more exhaust followed by my passenger saying jesus christ.


If you want a more noticable sound, go with procharger.

+1that sounds like mine also. My blower actually got quieter since i put the smaller pulley on it. The thing is almost silent at 2k
