I have had great luck with NITTO Extreme Performance NT555R Drag Radial 315/35-17, 10.5 rim. If you want to keep your stock wheels you can put up to a 275 wide tire thats what I did with my stock wheels than i needed more traction,I even heard people putting on 285 but I dont know, I dont think it would fit and was a b*tch putting the 275 on. check them out here: http://www.americanmuscle.com/nitto-...315-35-17.htmlthey are priced good and if you type in mustang forums you get 5% off.
the nittos are nice because they last 12k+ miles thenyou can sell them on ebay. The amount of power he's making will make the nittos beg for mercy.

I hate to tell you, but those tires are NOTHING close to what this guy needs. They are by far the crappiest D/R ever. So, S Owen please dont buy these tires.

Okay..here we go. If ya want the best street tire, "I" recommend the old school MT ET Streets. But, if it's a track only car with occassional lil street runs, I use MT ET Drags in a 28" tire. On the juice, you will be better off with the 28SS...which is the stiff sidewall. The 28 in combination of the 4.10's and the juice will get you the desired 60's, keep ya from running out of gear and the SS (stiff sidewall) will keep ya from unloading the tires on the juice.

This car will see more street miles than track miles. I'm not some kind of tweaked street racer or some s^^t, but it is a blast to drive. Waaaaay loud though.

Hey, code3GT, what size slicks do you recommend, and where should I post up my mod list? I haven't even tallied it all up yet. I am sure you know what I mean. You get on one of the projects and you don't know where up is after a few weeks. I have only had the car since January, lots of progress since then!

What happened to extrude-honing? That used to be a big deal, now most people don't even know what the hell you're talking about.

For slicks, I run 28x10.5x15. You can post your mod list in the "Bad Boys of the 4.6 section" up at the top of the 4.6 general section.
