Default Installing Piston Rings

Does anyone have any detailed instructions on installing piston rings?

I have Sealed Power rings.

Detailed instructions come with the rings.

Assembly the oil rings first, then the upper two rings. Use pliers so as not to twist the rings when expanding them over the piston. And, don't overdo the expansion thing...

I also have Sealed Power rings that I need to get on, but Summit sent me a box that was partially open and there were no instructions inside (all rings are there though, phew). The Fed. Mogul website wasn't much help. Anyone have a link to something useful? I know how to put the rings on; however I am unsure which ring is which (of the top two) one has a dull dot on it and the other has a metallic dot. Also the expansion rings have colored masses as the end which I am a bit unsure of lol...

Any help is appreciated. Thanks so much.

Don't know how many motors you plan on building in the future but Invest in a ring expander to install the rings, their not that expensive and its real hard to break or bend a ring if you use the correct tool.

As for plsirl, call Summit or Fed. Mog. and have them fax or emailyou a set of instructions, you don't want to mix these up, good luck.
