Default Transmission problems

Well i was driving to day normally(car isnt tuned yet!) and i tried shifting into 4th but it wouldnt go in. I had to fight it and it finally went in. First thing i thought was, synchros. I had trouble consistantly for 10 to 12 different shifts. Now afterward ot got better, it wasnt gone but it was better. I know the clutch is fine(i think i know anyway) but i am not sure on anything else. What could cause this? it feels like my clutch isnt fully engaging sometimes, but not always. it seems to do it more after i get on the car a little harder than normal. I know nothing about transmissions so any help is appreciated.

** It grinds when it goes in sometimes. it just feels like i'm tryin to shift with the clutch halfway in and it just dont wanna go in.

Check your clutch cable to make sure it is in solid shape and not coming apart or something like that. I installed a Ford Racing clutch cable and within a month it had completely destroyed itself....freaking ridiculous.

Is the clutch engaging really low or is it engaging where it usually does/did?

clutch issues would result in a problem in every gear.

Luckly you can find rebilt t45 5 speeds for around 700 bucks. Get one, and a racing clutch- for under a G. Put them in, and go racing problem solved!

I'm having a simular problem where there is some play in the clutch pedal after engaging the clutch. It feels like the clutch doesn't fully disengage since it feels likethe clutch isslipping under WOT, but it could also be that the clutch has 51k on it. Anywho...I got a Spec Stage 1 and am going to make sure the cable is adjusted correctly when it goes in.
