hoodscoop on black cars

Default hoodscoop on black cars

so the hoodscoop on my car looks like a lighter shade of black then my regular shade of paint my hood...is that normal lol?

if its buggin you just copy mine. it was like this when i bought it, so im not sure where you get the decal. think ive seen em on ebay though. then paint the scoop to match. i really like the way it turned out.

No its fords crappy paint. My scoop is faded big time and it looks weird!

usually, paint thats on plastic will be a diffrent shade.

yep mines not as glossy and doesnt pop compared to the rest of the hood when clean.

I tell you one thing, if you have a pressure washer with a "low pressure" setting that you use on your other cars, dont use it on the hood of your stang. It isnt low pressure enough..... i think its just the paint on the plastic though or maybe the shape makes it look a different shade?

yeah wgdt...look at it in the sunlight..you wont notice it when its dark or anything but when the sun is reflecting on it you can see its a little bit lighter..glad its not just me.
