flowmaster is too quiet???

I have a 00 Gt with a flowmaster exhaust which was install by the previous owner. At idle, I can barely hear the exhaust. Is that how it is? or is my exhaust is leaking somewhere? It doesn't have that muscle sound even when I press on the accelerator. Does anyone have any clue?

I agree with stang1101, get an o/r h midpipe and it'll really bring out the sound. Nothing beats the sound of flows and an o/r h at idle.

Your car is going to be quiet at idle. I have an O/R Prochamber and Magnaflow (normally louder than flowbastards) and it is really hard to hear mine at idle either. Reason being is there is no load on the engine so it isn't working very hard.

you probably have the 40 series. get a 10 series, and replace the midpipe with an O/R H.

Get rid of the Dronemasters and get an O/R ProChamber and Bassani cat back. Everyone has told me my car sounds awesome, I'm sure they'll do the same to u.

If you like the chambered sound of flows, then stick with it. First things first, get an offroad midpipe. Then take it from there.

I had an SLP LM1 for a long time, but switched to Flow 50's (Force2 catback) with a midpipe, and I wont go back.

If you want a muscle car rumble sound, dont get an x-pipe. You would like the H-pipe alot better.
