On my car in front of the hood scoop the paint looks very dull. Is it from the engine getting so hot and the clear is wearing off or what? Does anyone know how to fix it or does that jst mean it needs to be repainted?

Pix would help here, bro. Could just be oxidation. Use a good wax and don't park it in the sun and it should last forever....
