Default radiator fan ??????

ok guys...2 questions...at what temperature does the fan kick on and is it possible to change that temperature??? for example if it kicks on at 210*...can i make it kick on at 180*???

Thats what a thermostat is for. Stock is 195*, get a 180*.

i have a 180*...it seems like the car is hot when it comes on though

edit: i was told that the thermostat is just designed to open and let the coolant flow at 180* or 195* stock...that the radiator fan has its own temperature at which it kicks on

You can change the temp the hight speed and low speed kicks in with a handheld programmer such as the STC XCAL2

your fan will kick in at whatever temp your computer is set to example my high spesd will kick in at 225 degrees according to a scan tool the thermostat keeps your engine at a temp good for operating so it doesnt fluctuate it gives your car better gas milage and longer life so the oil and everything moves smoothly
