I'm trying to independently wire my foglights from all my other lights right now.

On the instructions i found on the internet it said to splice the purple / white wire coming off the convertable harness with a brown wire coming off of the foglight harness. the only thing is, i dont see a BROWN wire coming off the foglight harness.


Is that wire supposed to be "brown"? I don't want to start chopping and end up messing something up.

and here is the purple and white wire, i asume this is right...


Basically, I was just hoping someone could tell me which wires were the right ones.

Here's a link to the foglamp wiring diagram from the '03 factory manual. There should be 4 wires--black, white/black, light blue/red, and brown???[/align]

Thanks cliff, I just got it finished up. Looks great.

The only thing i noticed is that when i lock the car, and it usually blinks the conrers and fogs....the fogs don't blink anymore. I don't really care about that anyways, just weird. But everything else is wired good.

The fog lamp control circuit isno longerreceiving power via the lighting controller, you've crossed the feed over tothe convertible top control circuit supplythat hot in "run" or "acc" only (and always)...
