Default short throw shifter

i have been looking into buying a short throw shifter for a while now....just not sure what im looking for.... what would yall recommend....and also is it hard to put gears in my car myself?

As far as the shifter, Steeda Tri-ax or MGW or nothing. And gears are not easy to do yourself unless you really know what you're doing.

what about installing the shifter myself...is that pretty simple? it should just bolt up right? can someone link me a really good short throw.

no other way to go than MGW. It took me 30 minutes to install, easy as cake.

As for the gears, if you absolutely know what you're doing, go for it. I wouldn't want to spend $300 for somebody to install my $110 gears. Mine were installed when I bought the car, but they were done right. If they arn't done, they will whine and you're gunna shoot yerself for not letting a pro do it. [8D]

i have nothing at all agianst mgw i really like them my buddy has one but i love my b&m ripper with the upr extreme adjustable handle maybe thats because all of it only cost me 80 bucks lol but really id say mgw ecspecially if u dont know anyone with a used one for sale

I have a tri-ax. I love it, but as many others stated MGW seems to be popular to. Get the Tri-ax or MGW and i think youll be happy. Anything is better than stock believe us we know. lol.
