Default MMR 600 Short block Swap question???

anyone who has done an engine swap with a MMR block i was wondering if you need a new computer for it or do i need to have my tune retuned for the new block or is it a dirrect replacement engine only. i wnat to get the forged 600 block and need to know all that will be required before. any and all tips help.

so my stock computer and harnessing will/should work just fine then, right? anything else i'd need.

lizzy-the crankshaft-thats what i was thinking of doing. will the 600hp block handle 550-600rwhp with the forged crank shaft. also i was going to get all the options that come with it minus the coated pistons and windage tray. are you happy with yours and what block did you get?

Very happy!
If you want that much power you'll have to upgrade your injectors and fuel system, but that setup (MMR 900) will handle it!
The windage tray is not needed as our cranks sit high enough. I got one but did not use it as I would have had to get a larger oil pan, and I've spent enough moola!

lizzy-did you get notched pistons? did you get the racing oil pump? how hard was it for you to re-install all your existing engine stuff onto the new engine and about how long did it take? any pics? please give me lots of details-thanks
