Shift kit for 02
I have an 02 gt with an auto where is the best place to buy a shift kit? How much and what are the effects after installing it? Can you do it yourself? Thanks for the help!

Do some research on the J-mod, from my research its better then a shift kit and keeps the life on the tranny too.

A 20,000+ GVW cooler is highly recommended with or without a shift kit. Breakdown of the friction modifier in the fluid often results in "converter shudder" where the converter tries to lock up, but slips.
And for the record, the J-Mod IS a shift kit, designed by a ford engineer. |
