Default What batttery do you use?

I think its time for a new battery....tonight I tried to start the car, but nothing happened. Basically long story short, I think its time for a new power supply.

What brands do you guys use? I also have a small 10 inch subwoofer....not sure if I will upgrade the sound system in the future.

I have yet to have any problems with my first Optima red top. Granted, I never had any problems with the factory battery until it went bad.[&:]

Optima red top.

Did anyone have a problem with the Optima not fitting tight? The wedge doesnt fit tight on the bottom.

I had to buy a billet Optima Battery Holder off of ebay, take out the factory one and cut the upright parts off to make it flat and mount the billet one to the factory one. It still is kinda flexible because the factory one is plastic. The tech guys at the track ALWAYS shake itand then give it a real hard look! It looks like they want to say its not acceptable.

I know the optima's have size and top posts, any idea which top post Optima fits in the OEM location on an 03? I have a feeling it will be time for my battery to be replaced soon.

that chick is on your sig and youre worried about your battery?? haha jk

napa is what i usually use, never had any problems out here in the brutal heat, and i know heat is harder than cold on a battery and its 84 month prorated, since i change batteries every 4-5 years or when necessary its like getting a discount. just be sure when reading the batteries CCA its usually 5-15% underrated due to variations in each battery. the manufacturer does this to avoid too many discrepincies. and dont buy a battery that is stamped with a date more than 6 months old or that has been "boosted"
