This is an example of why I like carburated cars.

I think Acer2428 is on the right track, it does sound to me like a MAF problem. A friend of mine had a volvo that started acting just like your description of your car. Replacing the MAF fixed the problem.

ya, but this happened right after the cam swap, i mean its possible the maf sensor went bad at same time, but chances prob slim.........

Did you bang it around at all? I don't know what the mustang ones are like, but for some cars they break fairly easily.

how hard is it to take it off and look inside it?

It would just be ODD if your maf decided to break on the first start after your swap.

Did you install it upside down by any chance..

I think you'd need a proper diagnosis from a shop to find out if it's just starved. One of the reason carburetors are great, when stuff like that happens, anybody can fix the problem in their own driveway. I agree with everyone else about it most likely being your computer needing to be recalibrated from all the upgrades you've done. Swap in some larger injectors while you're at it and reap the benefits anyway. Actually if it just needs to be tuned you'll most likely get a little boost in power once it's dialed in right, which is always nice. Good luck.

Acctually I'm going to a automotive tech school right now, and im in a electronics course so I hope those teachers would be able to diagnos it! or im in the wrong place! lol Ya, I hope I just need a tune, and I think id prob gain a nice lil bit of power since it hasnt ever been tuned especially with the swap and all
