Yeah - Probably only 3 seconds or so with the fresh motor and the mystery add. Show off - Kidding. Hope to be up and running in two weeks.
The Bucket is just a lil 10 second 2V

jesus! interesting. also jacks - no big deal. the 2000+ stall means a 2000 rpm or higher stall converter/torque converter is recommended. it lets the trans slip a little more and the motor to rev a little higher before locking up and taking off down the track. think of it as letting out a clutch at 1500 rpms as opposed to 3000 rpms. the 3000 rpm launch is going to be a hell of alot faster so with auto trans people put in higher "stalls" to get their track times lower (60 ft/, 1/8th, and 1/4th all greatly reduced). the higher the stall though, the more power your going to need to get it to GO! also theyre fun the "flash" (pedal to the floor rev while still in drive) at ricers since the car will "stall" and rev to your TC rpm. he he he

Cams are not worth the money. I went from 254whp/300wtq---288whp/304wtq. Put more money into a nice spray setup and a PI swap.

if you plan on doing anything dealing with the motor, cams are worth EVERY DIME. 34 horsepower for 600 bucks?? not too bad considering a $300.00 CAI will get you 1-5hp.

+1 not to mention that cam(s) are adding permanent power. Looks like you gaines over 10% rwhp...and you don't call that much? Try finding another mod that will add that much horsepower permanently without costing you more than a G.

Cams are a great upgrade- not to mention you can get a set of custom grinds based on what your build is- Cams to take advantage of nitrous, of a super/turbo charger, or just an ungodly huge cam to run N/A *cough*code*cough*- the cam is the heart of the engine, and when you change the heart everything else changes.

very true, but a huge cam wont do anything if the heads flow like donkey sh*t. head + cam work can put you near 290whp if done right. thats assuming JUST heads and cams, throw in exhaust and basic boltons youll be over 300 but expect to pay to get there. heads will run you the most. some people will say its cheaper to go with nitrous which is true and will yield more power, but theres something about being N/A that is special
