whats the IAC mod and how do you do it? i've never heard of it.

i removed it and it didn't make a difference in performance. i put it back on after a week and theengineseemed 10x quieter so i took it back off

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

you dont have to make a new gasket, u can make a plug to put inside the iac tube and just drill a hole out super quick and easy

what does the silencer look like....is it the tube that comes off the box of the air filter?

its like a snorkel lookin thing. when u take the bolt off that secures the air box to the fender just yank out toward the right side and it will come out. then just pull the silencer off the airbox

Now with the IAC mod. Will this work on a 96 GT? And when you make the gasket what do you do with the other big hole in it (the hole where you don't draw an x ) do you cut it out or leave it there?

i dont recommend the IAC mod, alot of people have tried this and it it screws sh*t up. just invest in a 75mm throttle body, that took care of it for me (dunno why)

thats because they dont do it right....its a simple mod all u do is drill a hole. yea ull screw stuff up if the hole is to small. but other than that its one of the easier things to do.
