I bought my 2k3 gt a few months back, and it occurred to me that i do not have stock gears. when i bought it, it had flowmaster cat backs so it's very possible the previous owner had 3.73s or 4.10s installed. compared to my friends stock 2003 gt it pulls significantly faster. my gears hit redline alot quicker then his does and his top speed in 4th gear is around 25 mph higher then mine. basically my 4th gear hits the rev limiter at 115 mph. anyone have any ideas on what gear ratio i have? i'll try to get the redline rpm numbers on the other gears if that will help, i don't remember off the top of my head.

what's your rpm @ 80 MPH? With 115 top speed in 4th, it sounds like 4.10's

Yep, I'll bet on 4.10's. Yeah I didn't know until I ran my car the road course, when 4th would top out at 115mph or so.

I can redline 1st in under a second. And I pull better off the line than my buddies with GT's.

Well all i can say is that i can get 110 in my 2004 GT with stock gears in 3rd gear and im still not bouncing off the rev limiter so im going to say 4.10 or bigger.

just max out first gear, remember the speed it shifted at WOT in first to second, and then post the speed (if its an auto) if its manual at what speed in first gear does it redline? this will be the best indication of gear ratio since the OD gear is always the same.

thats about when i redline and get close to hitting the limiter in 3rd. so 5900prm @ 80 mph in 3rd.

5900rpm @ 30-34mph in first. 2nd hits 50 before hitting the limiter, and 3rd hits 80

I say 4.10s because 115 is right around that 6100rpms in 4th but are uhitting at the factory 6250 limiter or can u take it to 6500rpm.If the speedo is right then it might have a chip in it to
