Default lowering springs...ever heard of these?

so im looking for lowering springs for my 04 gt and i stuble across
"Tein 99-04 Ford Mustang V8 GT S.Tech Lowering Springs" on ebay. naturally these are pretty cheap so i skeptically check out their website but it actually seems like they have a lot of applications on various cars. also, the msrp for this particular application is around $250. so now im wondering...am i getting a good deal or is this one of those cheap brands that wont even last me more than a couple of years...

They are a good name in the forgein car industry but I personally would be skeptical about buying something for a mustang.

Yup. They are HUGE with Nissan and Subaru. From what I've seen they are good quality parts.

Is it these??

If so, that is a dangerously low drop IMHO. (2.5/2.3) And they aren't incredibly cheap either. If you shop around you could probably find a set of comparable H&R's or Eibach SS for the same or similar price.

THey sat in parts for a couple months until the manage just told me to take them. They werent my 1st choice but hell free lowering springs you can't beat that. long story short I havent had any problems and they gave my car a good look.

There's nothing wrong with Tein springs. They are no better and no worse than Intrax, Eibach or whatever other brand that you care to name (except for ebay crap, I'd stay away from that). A buddy of mine put a set on his Stealth R/T TT and it looks fantastic.

its these right here... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Tein-...ayphotohosting

i looked at the website and heres what they have to say about the S.Tech lowerings springs

TEIN S.TECH Spring is an excellent step towards suspension tuning.
They offer approximately a 1.5 inch drop for a more aggressive appearance. Comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
Spring length is guaranteed not to sag more than 5mm and to be clear of any manufacture defects (see limited warranty for more details).

who do i trust?
