After I get a few handling mods, I am going to be getting a midpipe. I was thinking an O/R X Pipe because I just found out that in Massachusetts they aren't suppose to use the sniffer test on cars newer than 1996. Would it be possible to get a midpipe and then have someone cut it and basically make it possible to pop the cats in and out without removing the whole midpipe. My friend has a Honda S2000 and they call them "Test Pipes" on his car. I just want to be able to pop the cats in if needed.

Your best bet would be getting a Bassani SS catted x-pipe. They are a 5pc modular set up that allows you to remove or install the cats whenever. It is a slip joint x-pipe that includes both cats and off road legs.

My friend had the slp x-pipe that came with interchangeable cat delete pipes.

Yeah I'm getting the SLP long tubes and x pipe for their quality and for the removable cats. It seems pretty simple to swap them in and out and I have to pass emissions here. They are pricey but everyone who has them says they're worth it.

I wanted to go O/R and then get cats later if I need them I don't really want to get cats unless I end up needing them.
