RE: time for a new motor???
if it's costing you quite abit of money to fix these problems i'd just swap another one in if that's what you'd want to do

RE: time for a new motor???
Throw a new motor in if you have the cash becuase if you continue to fix problem after problem, you will wind up spending more than you would putting a new motor in the car. Plus, you are less likely (in most cases) to have a lot of problems with a new motor.

RE: time for a new motor???
You can expect your current bottom end and valvetrain to last around 200k if its maintained well. Some see more and some see less. If you drive your car constantly like I do, then id go ahead and start thinking about getting a new motor in there soon. It will happen but the question is when? Be prepared for it so you dont get blindsided by cost of a new one and install.....
