Hey there, this is my first post. I am the proud owner of a 1996 Cobra Convertible. It has a vortech supercharger with performance intake, fuel pump, etc. During installation, the shop estimated it to be around 450 horsepower. The guy I bought it from (my best friend's dad) took it to a race track in Idaho and got kicked off the track by the officials for breaking the 140mph speed limit, but not before he ran the 1/4 mile at 122 mph! I am having the first problems with the Vortech supercharger and took it to a Ford dealership here in Santa Monica, California. They did all they could to temporarily fix the problem but a week later, the problems are back. I need to take it to a performance shop. Does anybody know of any race/performance shops in or around the west side of LA or even in the valley? The closest one I can find is 30 miles away. Please help! Thanks.

ya im in LA too. right around santa monica... youre gonna want to go to a reputable shop ... best one i can think of is B&D racing..... its a little bit of a drive but all they do is mustangs and they know their stuff. its a real good shop. give them a call 818 922 3278

haha i go to SMC... i just got back from comm10 ... 630-930 3 nights a week... gotta love winter semester... a 16-18 week class crammed into 6 weeks... YES!
