How do "aftercoolers" work.

RE: How do "aftercoolers" work.
The advantage is you can run ice in the tank, but when your not doing so they are extremly prone to heat soak. The coolant takes alot longer too cool than an intercooler, that is the coolant doesn't get chilled to ambient every single time it goes thru the cycle, it takes awhile after a run to bring it back down.
Not only that, the systems weigh signifcantly more than a intercooler setup, and they are more of a PITA to install, more moving parts to break, and MUCH more expensive than any DIY setup. Your talking 1400+ for a vortech aftercooler system!!
