Default antenna threads

ok so I've seen all the shorty antennas out there on websites but I think I've listened to the radio once since I got my car. I have my ipod wired up so I don't ever listen to anything else. I want to remove my antenna completely so I want to buy a bolt and stick it in the hole just so it won't collect water and rust out. Anyone done this and happen to know the correct size bolt I should buy? It would save me a trip to home depot with my 4 foot antenna in my hand haha. If anyone thinks this could hurt my car let me know also but I don't see how it could. Thanks for the help guys.

Just make your stock antenna into a shorty then you won`t have too worry about anything. Or just cut it off and leave the bottom of the antenna in.

Why would I want to spend 10 dollars on something that looks worse to me? I didn't say I couldn't afford it - I said I didn't want to buy it. I could buy a thousand of those antenna deletes but what good does it do if I don't like how it looks?

I'll just take it in the store with me in the morning. Thanks for the opinions

I took mine off also. I just tested a bunch of bolts I had laying around the house and one happened to fit.
