RE: underdrive pulleys

I have the BBK pullies and personally if I had known they were the piggyback style I wouldn't have bought them. But they still work I guess.

Steeda seem to be the most popular choice. They are a little more expensive than others, but well worth it.

Has anyone had experience with or heard about Motoblue pulleys? I believe they are non-piggyback and seem to look like a quality product at least.

piggyback is a pully (crank) that is smaller and is just put over the crank pully, so u have a pully on top of a pully. they are sayed to basicaly cancel any gaun out becuase of the "piggybacked" crank

Isn't thereanything else you might want to add to your car thats not the pullies? I spent the money on the Steeda ones, bad move. I did not feel any difference whatsoever !!! Maybe on a dyno it shows an increase of 4hp. I ended up taking them off. Searching and reading I found out the pullies are good for supercharged, highly modded cars. Very much like the difference, if any is mostly feltthere. Not on N/A Mustangs.

Im saving for the Gratanelly coil set, Ive read great reviews about them on N/A cars. Most of the figures we see on tested products by their sales or manufacturing dept. are high numbers based on highly modded cars and after hours of tuning to get the most out of their product.

Underdrive pulleys do not work with superchargers.

These Granatelli coilswill not give you any more power than the Steeda underdrive pulleys did, that is unless you are supercharged. I saw a test in MM&FF where they picked up 14 rwhp on a moddedsupercharger application.

I have BBK piggyback pullies and did notice a difference, car would rev slighly faster and tires would spin easier. I like mind good cheap mod and I did not use A/C pully because it does lower your voltage. No problems whatsoever.
