shifting without letting off gas

RE: shifting without letting off gas
the 45 will take abuse for awhile, don't get me wrong, but its just not going to take contiual abuse, even if you don't powershift.
Hell, I probably only powershifted my 1st 45 four or five times, but I shifted it quickly quite a bit, and it shelled it out. the 2nd one I never powershifted, and the first time I speedshifted it it started the short road to sync hell.

RE: shifting without letting off gas
There's a guy here on MF that trashed his TKO500 with 440rwhp. Tremec told him the TKO's were not designed to be shifted over 6000rpm or some BS like that. Screw that. Pay $2k for a tranny that will force me to shortshift at the track? I doubt it. I will either have a badass rebuilt T-45 or some sort of Proshifted(synchro-less) TKO.
