Am I correct to assume that the VT stage 1's will give a nice lope and still be okay with stock bottom end?
The stage 1's will giva ya some lope and be very safe along with giving ya nice power increase.
What about their Stage II's? Is it worth it for a stock bottom end car, or would I be better off going with just the Stage I? I guess what I'm asking is this: Do the Stage II cams put the power band up so far that it would be perceived as a performance loss as opposed to going with Stage I's?

With Stage 2's or bigger,ya really need a built motor so ya can spin the motor high enough to really see the potential of the bigger cams.

would it be realistic to see 20rwhp with VT stage 1s?

With the Stage I's, do you have to replace the springs as well? I have heard you don't, but is it something that is suggested to do anyway?

Stock springs will be fine.

I would like to know that as well. If I were to guess I would say around $500 but I don't know

I went with the 2s, and until I got FI (and had enough airflow to take advantage of them) I was wishing I had gotten stage 1s. The 2s only make more power than the stockers from about 5300+ RPM. I only picked upa bout 18 WHP peak, but I did pick up 30 WHP at redline (6000 RPM).

It was a decent mod, but with the 2s you have to do valvesprings, and when all was said and done (install, tune, chip, cams, springs) I was into it for over 1700 bucks. IMO its only really worth it on a bolton only carif you are already planning on getting the car tuned (aka you were gonna spend the money on the tuner and tune anyway) and you can do it yourself (install) or get a great deal on install price.
