So whats the cobra's problem with getting 320 to the wheels? I dont even have 275 at the wheels do I? Whats an IRS? Oh yeah and if its a drivers race, ill have no problem, he cant drive a stick.
IRS stands for Indepent Rear Suspension..Lots of wheel hop with cars having them...Another problem for the 99 cobra is it's torque curve...It's pretty flat...lol....It takes a bit for it to get going....Some have been know to cover 0-60 in about 6 seconds...now think about it... 99+ GT's can hit it in about 5.4 seconds with a good driver under the right conditions...I'm not saying 99+ cobras run 0-60 in 6 seconds...I'm just saying some have been know to be a little bit slower than 99+GT's....

Id really love to tell you about the cc springs, but the guy that owned the car before me put on the flows and the springs. I dont know crap about it, but my car handles alot better than my buddy's 03gt. Sorry i couldnyt help.

Anyone know a dyno shop in the memphis tn, nashville Area?

ZW99GT, how do you like the Ford Racing shorties? were they worth the money and time? let me know. i am really thinking about them for the money and convinience of using Ford parts. let em know.

Veloci1, I really like the shortie headers. They were fairly inexpensive, and not as much of a pain to put on as the LT. I know that everyone around here will say LT, and they are right. LT is they way to go with horsepower, but as far as i know you cant even pass emissions with those things. If i had to do it again, i would probably go with the LT's, but i cant(for now). Overall, i happy with the performance, and most of all the price. Hey what can i say, they are better than stock. right?!

ha... I'm glad there is no emissions testing here. I can do whatever I want to my car.

I really like the shortie sound. Of course, i have flowmasters w/ custom xpipe. So it probably sounds horrible according to some of you. (yeah right how gay is that). I got the shorties for the price and to say that i have a full exhaust on my car. Ive never heard a stang with long tubes in person so i couldnt tell u any difference.
