Default tunable induction install

i just got my tunable induction CAI w mam YES!!!!! my question is .. for the 99 GT with the full length kit with the mam... do i need to go from the inside of the fenderwall for anything... or can i do it all withought going under the fender... it doesnt look like there is anything the i need to go under the fender for... there are just 2 pipes... the l shaped pipe and the TB pipe... anyone that has insttalled this let me know what i need to do.. the directions are all over the place so im kinda confused

yes you'll need to go into the fender, its pretty quick and easy, just enough to reach your hand in there and stick the filter and elbow through the hole in the engine bay. A friend would be helpful here but I did it without, wast easy solo - had to do some McGuyvering to do it.

ohhhh is it because the filter is too big to fit through the fender wall...????

i wasnt considering the filter size... i was just looking at the pipe and wondering why i couldnt just put it through from the top

Yeah, the filter is too big. Its best to do it with a friend. Makes life SOOO much easier.

I had my mom help me. It was the first time she ever worked on a car. All she had to do is connect the piping to the filter while i was holding it into the fender.
