It wouldnt I dont think because you are going from a 5.0 to a modular which is MUCH wider than a pushrod motor. I dont think it would align correctly.

what about an H from a 98 GT. they are both 4.6, ide think they would be different but i was looking under one yesterday and it almost looks the same as my 04

when i got my off road X it said it would fit 96-04 but the 94-95 are 5.0's so i think it is exactly what JD said. pending on what the sizes and lengths are plus i would hardly doubt that any part from that year works witht he newer ones except maybe drivetrain things and suspension.
