Default Building new Engine for a new car

I am moving to college in a month and want to start builing a engine that i can run 11's with. Ifound a place were I can start building a new engine for another 96 mustang Ihave and want to know a good place to start. I got a full scholarship so I have some money to use. First of all what size block would be the best to start with and what are some good internals to use. I know what to do from there but just am unsure of where to start. thanks for the help.

Default RE: Building new Engine for a new car

If i had the money i'd go with a fully forged 5.4l engine.. That'd be sweet! VT is a good place to start!
