Default RE: whats causing these noises?

ok let me go back on the jackhammering sound and say its a "whirly grind" sound. and i hear it on decel while at low rpms as well as when im sitting still. though the faster im going, the faster it goes. i noticed if im sitting at a stop light, it still makes the sound if i have the clutch pushed in, but if i pop it in neutral and let off the clutch, the sound goes away completly. so, im gonna look into getting a new clutch and see where that takes me.

none of these noises afect the drivability of the car, it drives just fine. but its annoying and im afraid its going to lead to bigger problems.
