105,000 miles out of my T-45.

You CAN get a ****ty EVERYTHING in your car. Hell, I bet a couple Cobra owners had T-56's that went out with a couple 1000 miles. Does that mean it's a piece of crap? NO! It's just a faulty product.

I'm thinking about getting my T-45 rebuild with beefed up internals if it ever poops. It's not near as bad as people make it out to be

Auto FTL... the 3650 is pretty solid. At stock power levels you'll have a veryhard time breaking it. I ran sticky 295 width tires and a 100 shot for a year, powershifting it all of the time, it's still just fine, I am on weak tires now so no more worry of breaking it, but I could powershift 2nd on the spray and the tires wouldcatch, barely chirp... much larger forces than the transmission was designed to take. It will be fine!
+1, the 3650 is fairly solid, its the T-45 in the older cars (01 1/2 and below) that really suck. You shouldn't break a 3650 with stock power levels unless you are REALLY beating the hell out of it.

3650 > auto. Unless you do a stall/cooler/shift kit in these cars the auto really sucks, and on top of that I have heard of more than one person that destroyed a auto because of a shift kit (they don't like increased line pressure).

Don't you have a 96 GT? That's not a T-5 in there

I intially wanted to get the 05+ mustang but dont like the body style very much. I like the 99-04 much better. So Iguess I am going toresort to only 01.5 and above that dont have the t45.

I have a 3650 and I love it...no problems and I've abused her a little bit.[8D]

The 3650 is a solid tranny, but as with anything you beatthe hell out of, something will give...just depends on how good you are to your car, your car will be good to you.

3650> t-45 > POS auto

whats the point of having an auto mustang..... Oh thats right, you have to let the vagina drive once and a while....
