new heads
Hey guys, got a new job that pays more so the extra money can go into my car. Since i have a 96 i want to get (PI) heads but can i get them and just put them on or do i have to buy anything else for them to work right.

RE: new heads
If you get new Pi heads you will deffinitely want the pi intake to go with them. Also if you can afford it I'd look into gettin some stage2 heads from an aftermarket dealer and some better cams to go with it all. Although none are needed.

RE: new heads
you will need a 99-04 GT topend.

Here's a link to a complete PI Swap Kit. http://users.adelphia.net/~mustang-92/pi_headswap.htm
It tells you pretty much everything you'll need. If you're going to do the swap, make sure you do lots of research first and defintely buy aftermarket cams. RE: new heads
Might as well upgrade your studs and bolts while you have them off.

RE: new heads

RE: new heads
"too each its own" as the old saying gos. personally i would put 3:73 gears in it first then save up for the head swap and cams etc. gears are always a big bang for the buck.

RE: new heads
yeah i admitmy car is far from fast (I do a 2005 GSXR 1000 though which is insane) It's my daily driver and i don't want too much power for a DD but I definitley need more then it's pushing now but i was thinking of getting PI heads that are P&P with stage II cams. Hopefully i would be happy after that.
