My brother is thinking to trade in the saleen for a 03 M3? I dont think its a good idea.
And i dont think he will get a good deal for his saleen, its a 02 S281 N/A with, few parts added, and he got only 5xxx, miles on it. So what do you guys think he would get for it in a Bmw dealership ???

Tell him to throw a Saleen series V blower on his car and dominate all M3's

^^^^^Yep put a blower on it. it would be a lot cheaper. a dealer would give about 17k. dont trade it. sell it ur self dealers make a killin off of people trading in their cars

its true about making the car faster than the beamer is cheaper by adding a blower to it, but you also have to take in consideration that these two cars are totally diferent. they are built diferent, ride and feel and obviosuly look diferent. Let him test drive it....

besides...the 03 m3 has enough power to make you feel satisfied...very satisfied. i may be wrong but i also think it has beter handeling. it is also more comfortable in the inside.

the m3 car stock Ownz, dont need to worry about any after market modifications to be fast as hell ....so yeah its a lot to think about.

if i had to choose between a 02 s281 saleen and the 03 m3. i would most definalty without hesitation go with the saleen. its my love for the car.

ya a friend of mine has an 03 M3... and they are sick cars... REAL SICK... but id much rather keep the saleen and make it own all M3s.... i had a stock 99 GT and i raced my friends 03 M3 up to 70 mph and i was right on his ***.... like if i switched lanes i could have hit the back of his car.... but your bro has a saleen with a few mods which is faster than my stock GT... that means hell already roll closer to an M3 than i would, and i was real close... if he puts a couple Gs into the blower hell beat an M3 with no problem.... if he spends a couple grand on the suspension ... hell have real nice handling... i dont know if i can say that it will be better than the M3 though... those things can handle with the best of them

that cant be right... im not saying ur lyin but he mustve missed a gear or two or maybe was just the worse driver ever. a stock 99gt cant hang with a 03 m3...the gt will get smoked by a few cars normally.

The 2003 M3 runs like 13.4 stock. I'm sure they can go faster though.
