PI SWAP WOES! Timing cover studs, HELP!
I'm finishing up a PI swap and after I started rebolting the timing cover I realized that the top four (I believe) studs dont fit the WINDSOR heads i'm installing.
Any ideas? part numbers for new ones?
I can't go to work until I finish this car so quick help is greatly appreciated.

I found the old threads on these but all the ford dealerships I call have no idea what i'm talking about. Not cool. If anyone can hook me up with some part numbers that'd be money

I'm not sure on the part number but it really shouldn't be that hard for ford to help you. Sounds like they are just being lazy. The old ones are 8mm bolts and the new ones need to be 10mm bolts.

96 Stang GT, didn't you need the studs to mount misc crap?
And I have a new problem. I'm attempting to put on my PI Manifold and there's a coolant tube directly in the middle of the V that runs to the water pump which is blocking the mani from settling down to the bottom. It's pissing me off!!! Any insight on this problem?
Mustang02racing it's the studs that, on the timing cover, are the top right four bolts and three to the left. in the same spot. (According to Haynes manual and my memory.)
