Will the stock ford oem strut tower brace off of my 1997 Mustang GT fit on a 2003 GT?? Or in general, on 99-04 gt's???

Why not? I know the holes are not tapped on the 99-04 but everything else is the same.

on the 96-98 stb it bolts to a flap that comes off of the fire wall. on 99-04 you have to drill into the firewall. andi dont belive it will fit.

Don't know about whether it'll fit or not, but its true you have to drill into the wiper cowl portion of the firewall for 99-04. My aftermarket one is being a real pain in the *** right now cause apparently I have created a rattle installing the STB.

hmmm, im just asking because im selling my stb off my 97 and a bunch of people are asking if it will fit new edge stangs and i really wasn't sure and didn't want to sell it and have it not fit. thanks guys, i think ill just play it safe and say that i can't guarantee it'll fit but slight modifications might have to be made.
