how does the belt tensioner come off?
well actually i know how it comes off, but will anything go flyingwhen i take it off? (springs, clips, ect.) i just want to make sure because i hate surprises like that

It is all one unit...just use a ratchet to push it clockwise while facing the front of the car (there is a square notch in the arm to use as leverage) and the belt will get loose. Once the belt is off just use a 10 mm socket (if I recall correctly) to loosen the bolt. Pull off and ready for new tensioner.
