no he can drive it home....just move the shifter cable to N then start the car, pull handbrake up and go down and put it in D, then drive home and pull handbrake then go back down there and move it to N..Then turn car off....lol

I think the shifter cable just came loose, but I called the mechanic whose been working on my tranny and he said he'll come buy later tonight and fix it. I just needed that help because the street sweeper was going to pass and I didnt want a parking ticket. But it never came, lucky me. But thanks for the fast responses, really appreciate it.
