Default exhuast for my stang GT....

i want to install a new exhuast system on my stang. im getting my new pulleys on it sometime soon i hope, like within a week or 2. so i was wondering what should i do for exhuast? i wonder what company has the best sounding muscle car tone. i have heard borla was good but what do you all think about its system? what do you all sugest for a catback? im just going to do a catback till i can get the X pipe and headers.

You are asking for a world of trouble with a topic like this.

For a muscle car sound would be a h-pipe and a baffled muffler (Flowmaster, MAC, Spintech, ....), for performance you are looking at x-pipe with straight through muffler (Magnaflow, Borla, SLP,.....)

Each one sounds unique, everyone has an opinon on what sounds the best. I recommend you head over to http://www.mustangexhaust.com and get some ideas before you get a headache from the insuing argument[8D]

If you have ears you will be able to tell the difference between EVERY exhaust system.

the packs have a deeper tone than the borla it seems like? but the borla has a nice deep rumble too it also? its hard to decide. i dont want to go to loud. just alittle louder than the 40 series flows i got on there now.
