Good flowing mufflers may not do much for an acura, but on a mustang a good cat-back exhaust will make a good difference

I might get a whole 1-2hp from it at 6500+ rpm... but it's just the first step in a long series

points made from this thread</P>

1. ricers get all emotional over nothing.</P>

2. axle-back exhaust is just a ricer term.</P>

3. SN95's of any form are slow.</P>

Sorry but AXLE BACK EXHAUST, is a ricer term buddy.</P>

www.google.com</P>

Do a search and tell me what page you see the first Axle Back exhaust offered for a domestic V8. For us 8 gerbil guys, we have different terms - keeping things simple and non-trendy.</P>

It's simply called a muffler. <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"></P><edited><editID>Dan02GT</editID><editDate>37872.8648611111</editDate></edited>

okay, from now on, you can't use cat-back, CAI, or any of the other "ricer" terms. Where is this even coming from? Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed or something? I mean, come on. I come on here simply asking for info, and the only thing you can do is flame. You wanna call it a muffler, whatever. That's what it is. I called it an axle-back because that's what the majority of people I know call it. If the mid-pipe is custom bent for your application, it's an axle-back exhaust. If I sold it as just a "muffler," someone would buy it, and have to get the pipe removed, another one custom bent, and installed. Call it what you want. That still has no bearing to this thread. So far pretty much every other response has been intelligent. You don't want to reply to my thread? Don't. I'm not trying to barge in like I own the place, but come on... this is ridiculous.

Well, your friends aren't at this forum. Everyone here refers to it as CAT-BACK.</P>

CAI is an abbreviation, it is not a ricer term. We aren't flaming, maybe other members did, but not me. </P>

You are in a different environment. Learn the domestic terms, and speak those terms here. This isn't an import forum. Nobody is making you stay here either, none of us forced you to join too...if you have a problem with saying things so that everyone here understands what the hell your talking about, then why visit these boards?</P>

No harm intended from me, but this is a domestic board, not import..use terms we will understand </P><edited><editID>Dan02GT</editID><editDate>37872.888287037</editDate></edited>

I'm a member of ONE import forum. The other forums I'm a member of are BOTH Mustang forums, and they call it an axle-back as well. Please don't dismiss me as just another "ricer." I am far from one

I'm not mistaking you for another ricer. I have been involved with cars &amp; race cars for 10 years, and I'm only 19. I have not ONCE heard of an axle-back exhaust. NEVER. </P>

Regardless, the term isn't used here, it isn't very well understood here...avoid using it and quit your crying <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"></P>
