What do the SN95 5.0s and 4.6s run in the 1/4 mile (or 1/8 mile) stock? Thanks

Thanks... I know what magazines say. What I was LOOKING FOR, was what ACTUAL OWNERS get from their cars. Thanks for being so polite. It's greatly appreciated.

what the hell is axle back exhaust?a stock 94-96 GT will usually run low 15's stock. i've never heard of anyone hitting 14's stock, but it might be ossible on drag radials.

my friend's 96 gt ran a 14.7 at famoso with drag radials 3.73,s lower control arms, toke off his wing, fuel pressure reg. bumpt up timing(easy on 5.0), off road x pipe(with chamber), flowmaster cat back, cold air intake. weather sucked the best I could pull on fri was a 14.89 with a stock 2003 gt with drag radials. (weak) there was a girl there with a center force clutch and cold air intake (she was hot) in a 98 i think running the same times as me.

Axle-back exhaust is just the muffler and mid-pipe running up to it. It was something I got because I thought I was getting the rest of my custom-bent piping done that day. I decided to go larger, which requires a new header and cat. And, that muffler shop didn't have a mandrel bender that could do 2.5" piping. So, I had them put the muffler on, and haven't yet gotten the money/time to get the rest of the piping, header, and cat. Thank you for the time examples. The problem with a one-user website is just that... it's just ONE person. The whole reason for forums such as this one is for people to share knowledge

another thing about older mustangs like 95-98 (not really old) but they mostly have a lot of miles on them and are lossing hp and torque. just some thing to keep in mind and with a web site u dont allways know when that pass was made and that is what this is for to share info to help each other. get details, to bring to the track and improve on are bad a$$ rides with so much potential.

then you would just have a muffler. i protest the term axle back. sounds like a ricer mod. no offense. oh and awimmer, the 96 GT was a 4.6, not a 5.0. (you put 5.0 in parenthesis)

That's what it's called.. I don't make up the terms, just use them. A "cat-back" exhaust is from the catalytic convertor back, and an "axle-back" is from the rear axle "if my car had one" to the muffler. So if you wanna just call it a muffler, that's cool. It doesn't really add any power anyway.
