Default 2004 cobra

What kind of 1/4 mile times can I expect with a 04 cobra manual. stock and with a predator and 2.81 pulley, CAI, and exhuast. will it beat a 99 ls1 auto with hypertech, exhuast, CAI, FRA LID and ram hood. cuz i know that chevy underated those ls1 alot from the factory they say 325 but that is at the wheels.

yeah a cobra can beat that ls1.

r u kiddin they have boost
w/ all those modds that 04 cobra has about 440rwhp

that ls1 has no more than 340 at the wheels.

if u can afford a cobra get the cobra

it probably runs low 12s high 11s

what kind of boost would i be running. and is that safe to be running that much? and is it better to replace the underpulleys to get more boost or the pulley on the SC. my goal is to have lots of high end tq and hp. becuz when u race thats only where you engine rpm is?

no offence nailman but I think U should do alittle more reading on ur car before U start buying mods. check to see if there are any car clubs in ur area talk to their cobra guys seee what they have done and what works.

check out svtperformance.com and read up on some of their threads

anyway i think 2.81" pulley is the pulley w/ the most amount of boost u can get from the stock Eaton S/C. u could prob. get 14-15 PSI w/ the pulley u stated

if it is not tuned buy a chip make sure u do that so u can maxiumize the hp from ur cobra w/ the proper air/fuel ratio. I recommend the Deablo Delta chip for cobras

Good luck man
