NX purge valve problem

NX purge valve problem
When the motor heats the engine bay up my purge valve will not open past 600 psi but when the car is cold it works fine. I have shorty headers so it gets pretty hot under there. Is this normal?

No, it's not normal. Your purge should work at any pressure whenever you push the button. Make sure you've got the inlet and outlet right on the purge silinoid. If you've got the pressure side screwed into the outlet of the silinoid that's probably your problem. If it's hooked up right then you need a new silinoid.

Contact NXand ask for a return authorization. They will rebuild or replace your solenoids free of charge.....all you pay is the shipping. Mine get sent in every winter for a freshing up[8D]
